Eggs have incredible health credentials. The egg yolk and white are abundant in nutrients, such as protein, folate, vitamin E, zinc, iron, and potassium. The yolk also possesses essential fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins.

Eggs are an excellent addition to any weight loss diet because they can help repair and build your muscles.

If a boiled egg is one of your favorite foods, then you probably want to boil it, so that the shell does not stick to the egg. This also does not allow you to create a mess upon the peeling process.

So, the next time you boil eggs, you should add 1 tsp. of baking soda to the water.

In fact, older eggs are more alkaline, which means you can peel them with ease, whereas fresh eggs are less alkaline, which means the shell may stick to the egg. However, baking soda can elevate the alkalinity, so that you can peel the eggs very easily.

Other Tricks on How to Make Perfect Boil Eggs:

In case you do not know how old the eggs are, you can use the following trick. Simply put the eggs in some water and then observe them. In case they sink and stand vertically, they are ideal for cooking, whereas in case they sink on the side, i.e., horizontally, they are fresh. If they come up to the surface, they are old.

Furthermore, an extreme change of the temperature can cause the egg shell to crack during the cooking process. Therefore, you should heat the eggs before putting them in hot water because it prevents them from cracking. This can be done in 2 ways: take the eggs out of your fridge and then leave them at room temperature; another option is to allow them to sit in hot tap water for a few minutes.

In case you want to get eggs with a soft yolk, dip them in some hot water with a tablespoon for around three minutes.

But, in case you want to get hard boiled eggs, put them in cold water and boil them. Also, this prevents them from cracking.

Ensure that all the eggs are covered with water during the cooking process as they will not be cooked evenly. Moreover, in case they are boiled for too long, the egg white may be similar to gum and the egg yolk may become greenish in color.

Finally, add the boiled eggs into some cold water, so that you can peel them easily.
