Plastic Rice Has Been Produced in China! It Can Disrupt Your Hormones and Increase Your Risk of Cancer!

China has been manufacturing artificial rice for a few years. Specifically, Wuchang rice is a popular type of rice because of its unique taste and fragrance. In addition, as a result of this, it is double the price of other rice varieties.

Chinese rice manufacturers have become familiar with its popularity and have recently started producing “Wuchang” rice. This kind of rice is actually “fake,” because it is a combination of sweet potatoes, potatoes, and a harmful plastic compound known as industrial synthetic resin. When combined with a small quantity of real Wuchang rice and a fragrance, which simulates that of the real variety, Chinese rice manufacturers have made a huge profit on fake Wuchang rice.

This type of rice looks the same as the real variety in terms of size and shape. But, the plastic actually remains hard after cooking and can contribute to many serious health issues.

Plastic Rice Has Been Produced in China

Approximately 1 million ton of real Wuchang rice is produced each year, whereas 10 million tons of fake “Wuchang rice” is produced each year.

Furthermore, The Korea Times notes that distributors have revealed that selling fake rice is extremely profitable, especially in the large quantities, which are currently in demand. The manufacturers have recently started distributing this fake rice outside of China to Singapore, India, and Vietnam.

However, The National Food Authority of the Republic of the Philippines has recently started investigating reports of artificial rice. That’s not all, it has started using a spectroscopy device in order to identify if the rice is legitimate. Also, it has issued a warning.

Here Is What Happens to Your Body When You Eat Plastic Rice:

Consuming only 3 bowls of this artificial rice is considered to be the same as eating an entire plastic bag, thus leading to serious and fatal digestive problems, particularly if eaten on a daily basis. Unfortunately, most Chinese eat about 1/2 pound of rice daily.

Additionally, some serious health risks have been connected to bisphenol A as well as a class of chemicals known as phthalates present in plastics. Studies have shown that Bisphenol A could have a negative impact on the functions of your hormones, especially estrogen. This chemical has also been associated with negative effects on reproductive development in a few animal studies.

Moreover, phthalates are a class of “plasticizers” present in a variety of products, although they have been banned in the EU since 2005. They could also result in hormone disruption.

Most people have a detectable amount of bisphenol A and phthalates in their bodies because of the contamination of food products, which are stored in plastic containers.

Also, the regular consumption of this plastic rice could lead to a significant increase in the levels of these toxic chemicals.

Although there have not been any reports of artificial rice in the United States, this type of rice has been exported and eaten outside of China.
